A severely matted poodle gets rescued and then makes a transformation of a lifetime! #dog
When Hope for Paws received a call about a homeless dog on the streets, they didn’t know what they were in for. Sylva Kelegian and Eldad Hagar arrived on the scene to find an extremely matted poodle. The poor pup was so tangled up that she couldn’t even see or move properly.
But Dolly, as she was later named, had a fighter’s spirit. Despite her fear and pain, she allowed Sylva and Eldad to approach her with caution. With gentle hands and soothing words, they were able to get Dolly into their car and take her to safety.
Once at the vet, Dolly’s transformation began. Her matted fur was shaved off, revealing a beautiful white coat underneath. She was given a much-needed bath, and her wounds were treated. Slowly but surely, Dolly’s sweet personality began to shine through.
In time, Dolly was ready for adoption. And it wasn’t long before she found her forever home. Her new family fell in love with her gentle nature and playful personality. They gave her all the love and attention she deserved, and Dolly blossomed into a happy and healthy dog.
Dolly’s story is just one of many rescue stories that Hope for Paws has to share. With over 30,000 stray, abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs in Los Angeles alone, there are countless pups in need of help. That’s why Hope for Paws encourages adoption as a first choice for a pet.
If you want to help dogs like Dolly, consider donating to Hope for Paws. Just $5 can make a huge difference in the life of a homeless dog. And if you’re looking for a furry friend, consider adopting from The Forgotten Dog Foundation.
Dolly’s transformation is proof that with love and care, any dog can have a second chance at life. So please share Dolly’s story and help us raise more donations to help these animals. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs everywhere.
